Do I have to pay for a price estimation?

No. We provide a no-obligation free quotation service.

Do you do standard sizes?

No, customisation is our forte. We make everything to measure in our factory. Once you approve our price quotation (based on your approximate measurements or plans), our project managers come on site to laser measure the openings and make all frames to ensure a perfect fit.

What all do I need to provide to get my free quote from you?

As much detail as possible. This can include rough sizes, architectural drawings, energy reports, photos of existing openings and the type(s) of product(s) you are after. Along with the above, send your contact details (name, contact number, email address and location of the project).

What happens if the measurements I provide are not accurate?

Essentially, nothing! We just need rough sizes so that we can draw up the designs and estimate the price for you. As long as the dimensions are not completely inaccurate it will not affect the price. Also, our project mangers will come down for a final laser measurement prior to fabrication.

What do you mean by commercial grade framing?

Our standard framing is the 101.6mm x 44.4mm, also known as a 400/425 commercial grade frame type. This simply means that our frames are stronger and a bit chunkier, making them suitable for both commercial projects as well as architectural residential homes.

Do you install?

Yes. We have a dedicated team of installers who can install the frames for you. However, we always price installation separately in our quotations, should you choose to get installation from your tradesmen. Please note, our team doesn't complete removal or finishing works.

What does installation include?

Installation means fitting the windows and doors into the building, making sure that the frames are plumb and straight, the units are glass glazed and the doors and windows are adjusted and operable. It does not include removal and disposal of existing windows or doors as standard. It also does not include trims, reveals, architraves, plastering, painting or any other building work, unless specifically mentioned in the formal quote.

What does 'supply only' mean?

We give you the option to get only a supply of frames (and glass) from us. In this case, you can get your tradesmen to install the frames for you. This also proves to be cost effective since the builder or carpenter is already on site. Our team will happily guide your tradesmen during installation. We will still come to site for glass glazing.

Do you do removal and disposal?

As mentioned above, we do not complete any removal works of exisiting windows and doors. We are however, happy to recommend some trusted builder contacts if you need.

Is the price subject to a site inspection?

Yes. Even after the price quotation has been approved, sometimes a site visit may reveal additional requirements (like architraves or the need for a crane depending upon access and glass weight). These will then be added to the final price calculation as per the requirement.

What are the payment terms?

Our payment terms are pretty straight forward. We require a 50% (initial deposit) and the remaining 50% must be received five working days prior to delivery. However, on bigger jobs, we can agree to do a 35%-35%-30% payment plan, as these larger projects can stay live for a long stretch of time and even have some changes made. In either scenario, delivery can only occur once the final payment is duly received by our accounts department.

How can I pay?

We encourage EFT payments as credit card payments attract a 1.9% surcharge, which we have to pass on to the customer. Also, EFT payments are faster and thus, speed up the process.

I bought my door/ window from Nuline a long time ago. What do I do if I have an issue now?

While we take all measures to ensure that quality is maintained, sometimes things can go wrong. But rest assured, we stand by our products and are just one phone call away. Feel free to contact us as soon as the issue arises.

How long is the price quotation valid for?

Since we work with several external suppliers, we can undergo a price change every few months. So, the price is usually valid for a period of 30 days from the date of the quotation. However, we understand that sometimes things can get delayed and thus we try to honour the price if only a small period of time has elapsed.

Do you work outside Victoria?

Since we are family a run enterprise, our current scale of operations only permits us to service within Victoria. However, we are happy to quote for certain products which can be fabricated to an agreed size, pre-gazed and freighted out to your project site for installation by others.

Do I have to book an appointment to come to your showroom?

We have a dedicated office team and someone is always available to assist you in the showroom. However, we do appreciate if you can give us a heads up, so that we can give you dedicated attention and resolve all your queries.

What is the best glass for my project?

Every project has different needs. Your glass requirements depend upon various factors such as size, weight, application and BAL rating restrictions.

Do you provide flyscreens with your doors?

We do not specialise in this area but we can provide Freedom and Centor retractable flyscreens with our doors and servery windows. However, this is a niche product and may not be suitable for all applications and projects.

Do you provide security screens?

No. We do not provide security screens for windows and doors.
