Specifications
There are many design configurations available with our door systems depending on space and your preference for opening ability.
Our cornerless setups can be done in either sliding door or bifolding door products.
You can have either internal or external corners, equal panels on both sides, or offset designs with one side having more panels than the other!
We offer our clients a huge range of Dulux, Colorbond and Interpon powder coat colours, as well as anodised metal.
Our Dulux Colour chart, which encompasses most Colorbond colours, can be downloaded here. Our standard is the Duralloy range, but on request we can also do the Precious, RapidCure, Duratec and other colours.
If you would like us to order you a free sample card please contact us so we can arrange it for you.

There are many handles available for our doors, the options are almost endless!
Most handles come in black or Satin Chrome/Stainless Steel as standard, some come in brass or colour finishes, and most can often be powdercoated to match the door framing.
Our most common standard handle is the 480mm straight pull handle, which is also available in an offset design.
Other standard options include 195mm flush pull handles, and the ‘Yarra View’ range which includes an integrated lock setup in the handle.
Our second most common handle is the 450mm ‘Blade’ handle design which is available as a custom upgrade.
It’s good to consider the height and weight of your door when selecting hardware, doors taller than 2700mm look quite nice with a handle at least 600mm long.
We also offer various digital lock options for sliding doors, our team would be happy to discuss options with you.
Our bifolding doors come with the option of four premium Lockwood handles. Alternatively, if there’s a particular handle you like, we will be happy to see if it fits our door stile.
As standard, our handles come with a Satin Chrome finish. However, not all aluminium bifold doors in Melbourne require handles - if there are an even number of panels going one or both ways, a door handle is not required (see configuration tab above for examples).
We offer a range of glass options – clear, obscure, tinted and energy efficient. All options are available in both single and double glazed safety glass.
In new homes and major renovations, an energy report will suggest the right type of glass for your project needs. If you’d like to see what we can do for your project, you’re welcome to forward a copy of this report with your quote request.
In most designs, our sliding glass doors made in Melbourne either use a 2-track, 3-track, or 4-track frame setup. Shown below are a few common sill setups that serve different configurations.
Our door designs can also be made flush with the floor if required. Please note that all Nuline frames have fully tested subsills for correct water drainage - chat to our friendly team today to see what suits your door setup best.
We’d be happy to provide you with free sill offcut samples from our showroom to help you decide your floor rebate preferences.
Standard

Zero-threshold (upgrade)

We offer five different sill options for our cornerless doors - the three sills featured below are the most popular across all our applications.
Both of these sills can be flush with the floor (if recessed into the ground/ bench top or built-up timber/ tiles to the sill), giving your space an even smoother transition. The standard reversible sill offers you superior sealing when compared to the U-channel sill.
We’d be happy to provide you with free sill offcut samples from our showroom to help you decide your floor/ benchtop rebate preferences.
For our architectural doors, we work with retractable insect screen systems to create a stylish and elegant solution to keep the bugs out. The retractable design of the screen means the flyscreen remains hidden in its framework, offering an unobstructed view when open. We use several different brands depending on your preference, budget, and door size - Centor, Freedom, Brio, and Breeza.
