Classic Style
An effortless combination of versatility and functionality, our hinged doors are popular for entrance doors and internal applications such as cellars and hallways. Flush threshold options and digital locking systems are available, with seamless integration into existing home security systems.
In our Melbourne factory we manufacture taller and wider french door sizes than many other suppliers. Hinge doors are available in a single opening panel or, when paired together, they create a stunning french door. As with all of our products, these doors are made in accordance with Australian industry standards.

Specifications
A classic option for any space, our hinge and French doors can be installed in a number of configurations and inside larger designs.
Door panels can open inward or outward, and have fixed or operable windows in sidelight sections. We also have a range of midrail options for all types of designs.
Our French and hinge doors are available in an extensive colour selection, allowing you to perfectly complement your home with ease. Use our Dulux Colour Chart to assist in choosing the best option for your space. We use the Duralloy Colorbond range as standard, but we’re also happy to work with the Precious, RapidCure and Duratec – and other colours – on request. Speak with our team to receive a free sample.
Our hinge doors come with the option of four premium Lockwood handles. Alternatively, if there’s a particular handle you like, we will be happy to see if it fits our door stile.
As standard, our handles come with a Satin Chrome finish. However, not all french doors in Melbourne require handles - if there are an even number of panels going one or both ways, a door handle is not required (see configuration tab above for examples).
If you’re searching for a different style or colour, our team is here to help, we have a wide range of suppliers who all offer different styles and colour finishes. If you already have a particular style in mind, let us know! We can help to assess as to whether it will fit within our door stile or not.
Our hinge doors will have lever-action handles as standard, but don’t let that limit you! We also have a range of pull handles to elevate your design. Digital deadbolts and digital handles are becoming more and more popular in Australian homes, we have a wide range of brands available and are happy to discuss which one suits your home best.
If required, we can also fit door-closers, panic bolts, drop seals, DDA hardware, and fire exit handles.
The vast majority of our clients choose between either clear single laminated or double-glazed toughened safety glass. In new homes or major renovations, energy rating reports will specify the ideal glass type for the build.
We recommend installation by our experienced team. Our professional installers will make sure the process runs smoothly from start to finish, and the end results provide a crystal-clear view into the property beyond. Alternatively, a reputable tradesperson such as a carpenter or builder will also be able to install your new hinge door.

- Nuline offers back-to-back warranties with all our trusted suppliers. These range in timeframe depending on product type.
- Nuline’s workmanship warranty is 12 months following works.

Flexible Designs
A timeless classic design combines elegance with contemporary accents, our hinge doors can be customised with sidelite panels on either side or a top lite for maximum natural light.
