Wherever space is of concern for you, we offer a solution for your project by manufacturing high-quality architectural grade Cavity Sliding Doors.
Unlike Hinge Doors, cavity sliders do not require a minimum clearance to open and so use the least amount of space. They are ideal for areas with space and opening constraints.
Like our Stackable Sliding Doors, Cavity Sliders offer wide, unobstructed views to your indoor and outdoor spaces.
They are a perfect addition to any home or commercial business in Melbourne.
Request a free quoteCavity Sliders allow your door to slide inside a hidden framed cavity pocket within the wall, rather than protrude out or stack.
Creating a sense of open and seamless flow through your house, they can be used in various applications across your entire home; including bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry spaces, as well as between living areas. This enables you to join or separate rooms as desired.
Cavity Sliders can also improve accessibility for disabled users and those with reduced mobility; they are easily opened to your desired width and there is no need to manoeuvre around an open door
When selecting cavity sliders, it’s important to consider the configuration options that are available for use.
Firstly, the cavity pocket within the wall – into which the door slides in and out of – must have enough room to receive the door when it is opened completely.
Secondly, the wall that you are turning into a cavity sliding space must not be load bearing.
Once you are confident in these two factors, we can proceed with your sliding doors.
At Nuline, we work with a wide colour range, including Dulux, Colorbond and Interpon powder coat colours, as well as anodised metal.
Please browse our Dulux colour chart here - which shows the majority of Colorbond colours. We offer the Duralloy range as standard, but can also work with Precious, RapidCure, Duratec and other colours on request.
Please contact our team if you would like us to order you a free sample card.
We can offer a range of handle options for our cavity sliding doors. As standard, our doors are fitted with the stainless steel Zanda Verve flush pull handle – this option sits flush within the frame, creating a sleek and stylish appearance.
We also offer a range of larger handles with different shape and size options. Our Hafele stainless steel handle is an excellent example of this. All our handles are installed with a single action hook lock with a snib on the interior and key on the exterior
We offer an extensive selection of glass options, including clear, obscure, tinted and energy efficient - all of which are available in both single and double glazed safety glass.
In new homes and major renovations, an energy report will outline the glass type that will best meet the needs of your project. If you would like to see how we can assist in your build, you’re welcome to forward a copy of this report with your quote request.
We use heavy-duty bottom rolling hardware to power our cavity sliding doors. These adjustable, self-aligning ball-bearing rollers offer smooth, trouble free operation.
The advantage of these rollers is found in the wheel holders – they not only lean against each other, but they also allow the rollers to slide against each other; ensuring a uniform distribution of the load. We select the ideal roller for your door based on the overall weight.
When it comes to cavity sliding doors, professional installation is key. We always recommend installation be completed by Nuline’s professional team. If you have any questions about the process, please don’t hesitate to speak with us today.
