AUTOMATIC DOOR INFORMATION
Like the look and want to know more? The following is a simple explanation of the various options and components that make up our automatic doors.
CONFIGURATION
We can make our automatic doors frameless or framed. Our gallery above shows most of the configurations we do, the most common being single and double entry doors. If the configuration you are after isn’t shown above just talk to us to see if it’s possible.
COLOURS
We offer customers a huge range of Dulux, Colourbond and Interpon powder coat colours as well as anodised metal. Our Dulux colour chart, which encompasses most Colourbond colours, can be downloaded on the left. Our standard range is the Duralloy range, but on request we can also do the Precious, RapidCure, Duratec and other colours.
If you would like us to order you a free sample card please just contact us so we can arrange it for you.
THE BRAIN OF OUR AUTOMATIC DOORS
Using our standard automatic door has never been easier and more secure. Our user-friendly Digital Device Manager is the brain of our sliding doors and has all the features that other companies offer as optional extras built in at no extra charge. This includes:

- 10 built in mode settings – Auto, Open, Lock, Manual, Exit, Safe, Climate (Auto, Exit, Open)
- Speed adjustments – complete programming of all speed settings achieved.
- 7-day time clock – program lock and unlock times and never again worry about forgetting to lock up. Scheduled lock times can easily be overridden when required.
- Climate control – tired of exorbitant air conditioning costs or want restricted access width after hours, use the climate control settings.
- Selectable chime function – when doors are locked and you are out back if someone enters the external sensor field a chime will sound. Additional chimes can be fitted if required.
- People counter – know how many people enter your building. Measure your marketing campaigns with ease.
- Entry keypad – extremely secure when used as an entry keypad. Used with secure data transfer (cable cannot be shorted to open doors).
- Security interface – entrance open, locked signals provided as well as easy interface to BMS systems and fire systems.
- Programmable user codes – ability to increase security levels by altering and changing codes to suit your needs.
- Lock override – the ability to override a sensor fault to gain lock mode late in the day. Reduces after-hours calls.
AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOOR INFORMATION:

Shown above are two examples of our automatic sliding doors (belt and chain operation). Our most powerful motor and gearbox can move 380 kgs panels continuously 24 hours a day. Our sliding door tracks are stainless steel as standard for smooth operation. These tracks are supported by a lifetime warranty.
Our products are also designed to be whisper quiet. Steel reinforced belt driven motors are just one aspect of this, our doors also come with motor dampeners (rubber mountings) and noise suppressing end pulley that reduces chain noise by 30%.
Our standard sliding doors also come with:
- A Digital Device Manager (see above).
- Aesthetically pleasing narrow pelmet sections coloured to suit your project.
- Fully digital computerised infrared sensors with adjustable sensitivity, range and selectable zone detection pattern.
- A battery back up to maintain locking in the event of power failure as well as to open the entrance on an emergency signal when required.
- Electric Motor Lock, which is the benchmark for high security applications.
- Push button and key options.
- A Reset switch and built in fail-safes
AUTOMATIC SWING DOOR INFORMATION
Shown to the right is an example of our automatic hinge door mechanism. Our most powerful swing arm can operate 200 kgs per leaf. All our swing arms can be made to open doors (push) or open inwards (sliding arm). Like the automatic sliding doors, this style is designed to be whisper quiet by utilising dampening technology. Our standard sliding doors also come with:
- A Digital Device Manager (see above).
- Aesthetically pleasing narrow pelmet sections coloured to suit your project.
- Fully monitored computerised microwave and infrared sensors with adjustable sensitivity, range and zone detection pattern.
- A battery back up to maintain locking in the event of power failure as well as to open the entrance on an emergency signal when required.
- Electronic locking, which allows easy and fast locking locally or from a remote location.
- Push button and key options.
- A Reset switch and built in fail-safes.

GLASS TYPES
For framed automatic doors we can do any type of glass that you want like single glazed, double glazed, low E performance and noise performance glass as well as all kinds of tints, patterns and translucent glass. If the automatic sliding doors are frameless we need to use thick single glazed toughened glass (usually 12-15mm thick) for safety and strength.
In the majority of framed automatic doors we do, our clients usually opt for either clear single laminated or double glazed toughened safety glass. These types of glass are shown below. Often in new homes and major renovations energy rating reports will specify the glass type required.
