Our Story

We started out small, like every other company, and had to work extremely hard to get to where we are today. We’re proud of the journey and what we’ve accomplished. 

Our two head honchos, Kym and Reinder, were previously managing directors in the train and bus industry and were responsible for designing doors, roof hatches and windows. They bought Nuline together in 2002 with a vision to continue in the same industry whilst branching into architectural windows for residential and commercial buildings.

In reality, the demand for quality heavy-duty windows and doors for residential and commercial properties was enough to convince Kym and Reinder to focus solely on this industry. The change of industry was much harder than anyone could have anticipated, but to Kym and Reinder’s testament, their dedication, work ethic and commitment to quality was enough to not only keep the business going, but to watch it grow. It’s evident that these same qualities have become ingrained in the business throughout the entire Nuline team.

These days, the two head honchos are still working hard, but now have the support of over 20 people. They now enjoy the relative luxury of a nice head office with a showroom that displays our products and a large adjoining fabrication floor. Our size allows us to take on large commercial jobs as well as residential homes and renovations while ensuring flexibility, speed and service.

We might need to get in touch with you to discuss options, make design suggestions and ask for more information (photos, reports etc) if required.

We endeavour to draw a quote that is complaint with energy reports and complements your project.

Our turnaround time for price quotations is between 7-10 working days. At the end of this, you will receive a quotation, designs and a colour chart

Site Visit

3. Site Visit

Once the quotation is approved, our project managers will contact you to set up a site meeting. Your site will be inspected and final measurements are taken. You will also receive a deposit invoice from our accounts department, so we can lock in a date and start ordering metal for fabrication. This is also the best time to discuss your rebates, clarify any doubts and discuss any other technical aspects that need to be addressed. Design changes are welcome and possible until this stage.


4. Fabrication

Now that the designs and quotes are all approved and measurements finalised, our expert fabricators get into the factory to make your door or window.

Installation / Supply

5. Installation / Supply

We are now ready to install or supply your project. We will always price installation separately on our quotes for your flexibility.

If you decide to get only supply from us, our glaziers are still happy to come out and put glass in frames. In such cases, our installers will be happy to guide your tradesmen through the installation of frames to ensure these are plumb and straight. Before the site is handed over, our installers ensure that you are happy with the products installed and all is well. 

But wait - It doesn’t end there! We will always stand behind our product. If you ever struggle with the doors or windows, we are just a phone call away and more than happy to help.
