Pet Door
No matter what form your furry friend comes in (cat or a dog), Nuline Windows + Doors can provide fully glazed glass units with pet doors installed. We can install these to suit any type of window or door – fixed, hinged, sliding or bifold.
Our preferred doggy door is the Transcat Dog door, which is made out of tough polycarbonate plastic. The dog door we generally use is 400mm in diameter. The actual flap is 250mm (down) x 285mm (across), which means this door is suitable for small sized dogs. Please see image below.
Made out of a similar material, the Trancat Cat door is 287mm in diameter and the actual flap is 170mm (down) by 180mm (across). To ensure that the glass doesn’t break, we use 6mm toughened safety glass (for single glazed units), which is significantly stronger than normal laminated safety glass.
