An effortless combination of versatility and functionality, our hinged doors provide an ideal entrance door whilst also being well suited to utility applications.
Made to measure in our factory in Melbourne, these doors are available in single opening panel or, when paired together, they create a stunning French door. As with all of our products, our hinge doors are made in accordance with Australian industry standards.
A timeless classic design combines elegance with contemporary accents, our hinge doors can be customised with sidelite panels on either side or a top lite for maximum natural light.
These doors can be opened inwards or outwards, left or right hinging, and incorporate perimeter seals for excellent protection that will withstand the Melbourne weather. Let us help you to create a practical and welcoming entrance to your home or office space
A classic option for any space, our hinge and French doors can be installed in a number of configurations.
In addition to opening inward or outward, depending on the size of your glass panels and your style preferences, they are also available with a number of midrail options.
Our French and hinge doors are available in an extensive colour selection, allowing you to perfectly complement your home with ease. Use our Dulux Colour Chart to assist in choosing the best option for your space. We use the Duralloy Colorbond range as standard, but we’re also happy to work with the Precious, RapidCure and Duratec – and other colours – on request. Speak with our team to receive a free sample.
We offer three different handle options for our hinge doors, all of which are sleek, stylish, and sure to complement every home – from heritage to contemporary.
Our handles come in a Satin Chrome finish as standard, though if you’re searching for a different style or colour, we can provide you with a list of other Lockwood Handles that would suit a hinge door.
If you already have a particular style in mind, we can help to assess as to whether it will fit within our door stile.
If required, we can also fit door-closer and fire exit handles.
The vast majority of our clients choose between either clear single laminated or double-glazed toughened safety glass. In new homes or major renovations, energy rating reports will specify the ideal glass type for the build.
Our hinge doors and French doors all come factory fitted with a keyed lock as standard, which allows us to provide our clients with maximum peace of mind.
We always use heavy-duty stainless-steel hinges, to ensure extended durability and easy movement during use.
We recommend installation by our experienced team. Our professional installers will make sure the process runs smoothly from start to finish, and the end results provide a crystal-clear view into the property beyond. Alternatively, a reputable tradesperson such as a carpenter or builder will also be able to install your new hinge doors.
